Want to take part in Cocktail Weekend 2020 going down this weekend throughout the Valley, but don’t know where to start? We got you. We will highlight some of the big events going this weekend in celebration of all the brilliant cocktails that can be had throughout this city.
The Cocktail Carnival rides into Phoenix this February with an astounding and fantastic lineup—including a full 20-person marching band. All-new for 2020, AZCW has partnered with the famed local art gallery and events space, Walter Where? House to host the Cocktail Carnival, The kickoff party is featuring national touring marching band MarchFourth. Housed inside a revitalized former 1940s paper factory, alongside the live performances, the Cocktail Carnival will feature an innovative, immersive light and sound display, art show, and of course, the state’s most creative cocktails by the world’s best liquor brands showcasing their exciting new offerings and cutting-edge bartending and techniques
The Croft Downtown
A one-of-a-kind event, Top Bars is an international cocktail experience featuring pop-up versions of renowned bars from around the state, country and across the globe. Enjoy over 30 samples of craft cocktails from world-famous bars and entertainment, all under one roof in the heart of Downtown Phoenix.

Join Arizona Cocktail Weekend and Young's Market Company of Arizona for the 2020 "Last Slinger Standing" cocktail competition. This fast-paced, one-of-a-kind contest will pit 16 of Arizona's finest bartenders against one another in a single elimination, bracketed-style tournament. Each round will consist of a secret base spirit to be paired with a secret modifier ingredient. These must be integrated as the backbone of an original cocktail. Competitors are made available a wide array of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and more to round out their drink... but only a finite amount of time. The clock ticks quickly with an esteemed panel of judges waiting to choose the superior cocktail. This will determine the contender that will move on. The further our contestants advance, the harder the rounds become with added technique requirements and surprising twists. Come watch and find out who will have their named etched onto the "Centennial Cup" and be crowed this year's Last Slinger Standing!!
