Southwest Cajun Fest, brought to you by Abita Brewing is set to return on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from noon – 9 p.m. in downtown Chandler. Showcasing the heart and soul of New Orleans paired with Arizona fusion and flavor for a full day packed with cultural festivities, food and entertainment.
Southwest Cajun Fest celebrates Cajun culture, cuisine and handcrafted beer. The fest will feature live music with jazz, blues and contemporary swing revival bands. Festival patrons will feel transported to the southeastern region of Louisiana with a variety of food vendors serving up regional dishes. Other highlights includes themed zones, eating competitions, a kids zone and more interactive experiences.
Fried French Fry & Music Festival

Feast your eyes and your ears on FRIED, a French Fry & Music Festival at Hance Park in downtown Phoenix. FRIED lets the world’s favorite side dish take center stage alongside an amazing line up of artists that will make for one helluva party you don’t want to miss. Purchase mind-blowing French fry creations from over 20 makers for just $2-$3, and chill on the main lawn with a beer in hand while listening to a curated line-up of musicians, bands, and DJs.
This inaugural festival is produced by the founders of the Phoenix Pizza Festival and Downtown Donut Festival. The event benefits Downtown Phoenix Inc., a 501(c)3 organization that promotes the continued revitalization of downtown Phoenix. Using their powers of collaboration, DPI works tirelessly to ensure that Phoenix is a vibrant, urban destination and one of the nation’s great cities. They also had never really thought about French fries as the focus of a festival and were intrigued by the idea.

PHX Night Market

PHX Night Market is a nocturnal food and entertainment event focused on bringing culinary creativity and diversity to the Greater Phoenix area. This Asian-influenced and Phoenix foodie-inspired celebrates cultural diversity, cuisine, music, and community. Located in Downtown Phoenix, the PHX Night Market had it's inaugural event in April 2018 with over 13K attendees and 50+ food and retail vendors.
This flavorful event series is influenced by the famous night markets or night bazaars found all across the world. These markets are held at night because they are meant to be a fun and lively experience. Night markets are an opportunity for people to indulge in the artistic creativity and passion that amazing vendors craft into delectable food and drinks. The PHX Night Market is a platform to provide an outlet for chefs, artists, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations to showcase their imagination and creativity. This event will be a common ground for people to showcase cultural diversity and create a fertile foundation of local investment through homegrown talent, creativity, and ingenuity. Joined by the Asian Chamber of Commerce, the PHX Night Market is a haven for passionate local entrepreneurs to gain a dearth of knowledge and experience.
