Outdoor Festivals This Weekend - November 2 - 4

Updated: Nov 8, 2018

The Arizona Fall Fest

The Arizona Fall Fest is a free and family-friendly celebration of everything local to Arizona. The festival features food from many of Arizona’s finest restaurants, a beer & wine garden, booths for local merchants and live entertainment.

Formerly known as the Certified Local Fall Festival, the Arizona Fall Fest will have even MORE Arizona flavor and fun this year. Show your Arizona pride and join your community for this annual festival.

Bring your reusable water bottles to use at refill stations, ride the light rail to the event (you'll get a free food sample ticket when you show your pass), donate $1 to get a reusable wine glass in the Beer & Wine Garden and use the eco-stations where you can compost & recycle. Let’s make this festival the most sustainable one to date!

AZ Barrels, Bottles & Brews

Join us on Saturday, November 3rd for the inaugural AZ Barrels, Bottles & Brews event at Salt River Fields.  Enjoy & celebrate craft beer, spirits and wine from around Arizona with over 25 local breweries, distilleries and wineries from the Copper state!

Arizona Barrels, Bottles and Brews is the only festival on Earth to feature all samples being produced exclusively in Arizona.  Relax as you meander through Salt River Fields enjoying exclusive releases from Arizona breweries, perfect varietals from Arizona wineries and exemplary tastings of the finest spirits being distilled in Arizona.

Dia de los Muertos Festival

St. Mary’s Basilica is once again hosting the 5th Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona.  Join over 10,000 participants to celebrate life, faith, and the remembrance of our beloved ones who have gone before us.  This family-friendly celebration is free to the public.  A donation of canned goods is suggested, which will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank.  Attendees are encouraged to bring (non-original) 5×7 photos of their loved ones to place on the altars around the fountain in the center of the plaza.  Frames will be provided for the photos and the altars will be blessed in remembrance of our beloved ones on this special day.  You may also purchase remembrance candles for the altars.

During the event, there will be free children’s activities, face painting, balloon animals, live entertainment from Andres Martinez y Ritmo Latino Band, Mariachi Juvenil de mi Tierra, and Ballet Folklorio Quetzalli, as well as a Dia de los Muertos procession.  Kathy Cano-Murillo (Crafty Chica) is among this year’s participating artists who will showcase a variety of beautiful handmade jewelry, purses, paintings, candles, pottery, Dia de los Muertos themed-goods and more for purchase.  There will be a car show with trunk altars.  Plenty of food and beverages will be available from award winning food trucks.  Please join us for this wonderful family-friendly celebration of life.  All are welcome.
